The appealing and distinctive design of this PC/TV used low-cost off-the-shelf components to make it affordable. It was an immediate commercial success, notching up sales of 15 million units in its first year of production.
Design makes the difference
To reduce the thickness of the display module, the PC components were mounted vertically in the stand.
Thinking outside the box
Thinking beyond just the product, we proposed to have the customer attach the distinctive metal foot during unboxing to reduce the height of the packaging by about 50%.
This is not only environmentally much more sustainable and greatly reduces shipping costs, it also gives the customer a feeling of personal involvement in setting up their new computer.
