GRO and Heineken
GRO has worked with Heineken for a number of years on projects as diverse as bar equipment for their 5-star pouring ritual, to signage that captures the spirit of the Heineken experience.
Heineken's second edition of Open Design Explorations focused on the ultimate lounge experience. GRO helped mentor 20 young designers in developing the space and together with Heineken developed the award-winning Vector merchandising range that embodied the concept and enhanced its serving rituals.
Reusable rubber coasters
A three-dimensional latticework surrounds glasses and bottles, creating a delicate base for presentation and catching spilled beer.
An integral part of the Open Design Explorations event was the serving of experimental finger food. This spoon curves around the hand, enhancing the eating ritual, and stands on its own base ready to be picked up.
