In 2011, the LG Air Treatment group approached GRO to innovate its stand-alone air-conditioning portfolio. Appealing in its simplicity, the design solution combines functional user interaction with an appropriate design identity, winning both an IDEA GOLD Award and an iF Award in 2014.

Appropriate form language
The tapered product offers an appropriate solution for tall air conditioners, but is also readily scalable across a range of air treatment products.
Easy to understand and intuitive to use
The discreet interface appears as the user approaches and disappears when the product is not in use.
